Noi had previously been sprinting through the forest at an inhuman speed. She had promised herself a lead in the race, and that Disiro would be burdened with some trouble of finding her. She needed the night to herself, alone, or at least away from him. Fear had sparked when his transformation had gone on without the aid of the full moon. She had never seen it occur before. It frightened her, and at the same time it sparked curiosity. Mostly, though, she needed to gather her thoughts of what to say in response before making her appearance before him once more. She was also rather hesitant to do this for fear of being hit again, perhaps even taking a beating for directly defying him by running off as she had when she had gotten herself in trouble the first time. She knew she was just digging herself deeper and deeper into a hole of mischief, and there was no way out until she finally felt that she was ready to endure whatever punishment Disiro felt she deserved. Right now? She was hardly yet ready.
Breath escaped her and she was forced to slow down, wincing as her now shredded feet looked as if she had walked upon a thousand daggers. The rocks, pebbles, and twigs had nearly torn through the nerves, and would need some bandaging whenever she could get it. However, this was not her prime concern at the moment. She needed to reach her destination soon. After a moment's brief rest, she picked up the pace once more, at a swift jog. Her sides were aching like more than they ever had before, and her heart rate was sky rocketing in panic. Finally, she could not even jog any longer. She slowed to a walk.
After nearly five minutes, she came to a town. She had heard of this place before. It was called..Kinraide, or something of the sort. She had heard of it before, but it had never really been described to her. As her eyes traveled about the scene, they landed upon a crooked sign that read, 'Welcome to Tavern Town'. Throwing her hand to her face and slowly pulling down upon the skin in irritance, she sighed. Great, more mad men, she thought to herself negatively. Drunks. Oh, yes. That was exactly what she needed at the moment. Praise the lord. Shaking her head, she continued on, eyes never ceasing to travel around the area as she walked upon the stone tablets carfully placed beneath her bleeding feet.
Oblivious to her bleeding, she left a trail of crimson footprints upon the granite stones that she suspected had been carved out directly from the mountains. Finally, one of the many staring people of poverty and the lower class strolled up to her and placed a hand on her shoulder. The poor woman was not the most appealing of the bunch. Her skin seemed transparent, thin to the touch and sagging upon broad bones. Many warts covered her face, and she had rather large doe eyes that were spread widely apart on her distorted face. What was left of the elderly womans hair were fragments of dull gray, messy, greasy, and unbrushed strands that seemed to bounce lightly as she walked. She was slightly crippled, her back curved as she leaned over slightly to relieve herself of pressure in the back. Feet were bare, unkept cracked and yellowed nails protruding from warted and crippled feet. Her figure revealed that she was seemingly ancient and near death due to lack of a meal for some time. It made Noi frown that the werewolves thought they had it bad. Her only clothing was of a small, soiled brown tunic and patched skirt. What made Noi wonder, however, was how such a broken creature could hold yet the brightest smile she had seen in a good while. It was rather contagious, and though hers came from the nervous feeling the woman gave her so near, Noi smiled back as well, though looking rather sheepish.
The woman's voice held a raspy though kind tone to it as she spoke, offering refuge and service to the wounded Noi. "M'lady, you seem cold, and you are bleeding. Please, let me be of assistance. Follow me if you will, ma'dam." She bowed her head formally before showing the way along a narrow path of dirt just off the main road of the town. Noi's saphire eyes traveled around the area around her once more, her eyes breathing in ever feature the earth held that surrounded her. All that she could see was carefully secured within her thoughts, and remembered for future reference. Her thoughts were interupted as the creeking of a door startled her. She looked down from the towering evergreens, eyes then cast upon a small, humble looking cottage made the same granite from the mountains. The house looked as if it had been built in a few short days, it's unstable constuction appearing as if the roof would collapse in at any false move within the building. It was no surprise to Noi when the woman told her to touch nothing when she walked inside.
Footsteps echoed softly, bouncing off the walls of the two room home. Snoring soothed her softly, though striked curiosity in her. She leaned forward, seeing what appeared to be an old hound dog lying on a straw pallet upon a stone table in what appeared to be a bedroom and bathroom rolled into one. An ear perked, nose twitching at the new scent that blew through the room, carried by the soft, chilly breeze that seeped through the windowless holes in the place. The hound pushed itself up, trotting towards Noi at in a bouncy two-step. Druel dripped from the beast's sagging chops, thrown onto Noi as he threw himself onto her. Noi smiled, wiping the druel off her stomach as the canine threw himself to the air, nails clicking on the stone floor as he struggled to stay standing on his hind legs. Noi stroked the creature's head, coexing the beast as it fell back down to all fours. Slowly, she ceased to pet the dog, and it trotted off and back to it's pallet where it laid back down and slowly drifted off into a light sleep once more, it's snoring ringing through the confines of the cottage once more.
The woman held a broader smile upon her bony facials, a raspy chuckle coming from her. "He's never done that to anyone else. You must have a close connection with animals. Such a gift." She said, briefly admiring the younger woman before going back to work at trying to find a bandage, old fashioned gauze tabe to bandage her feet that were still gushing crimson onto the floor. Noi let an amused smile come to her. "You have no idea.." She trailed off quietly. The woman looked up once more, not exactly catching what Noi had said. "What's that, dear?" She asked raspily. Noi shook her head, "Nothing.." She finished.
"Oh dear, where did I put that..oh! Here it is!" The old woman spoke to herself, pulling out of the cabinet with her hand a dusty roll of gauze, wrapped in cob webs. The old maid brushed the webs and dust away, pointing to an old wooden chair and telling Noi to sit down. Noi obediantly sat down in the piece of petite furnature, the hand carved though simple wood work creeking as she did so. The woman kneeled down beside her, and Noi raised a brow as she began to wrap her feet with the gauze. It was a rather awkward moment, but Noi just let it slide and with no time it was finished. She stood up, nodding to the woman with a smile. "Thankyou, ma'am. That will be all I can accept from you. I must leave now, but thankyou again for your show of kindness. It will pay off one of these days, I'm sure." She said, before starting for the door. The old woman smiled kindly, rushing towards the door and opening it for her. "May god bless you!" She called after Noi. Noi shivvered at this phrase. "And Lucifer you." She hissed back, picking up her joggging pace once more as she retreated back to the 'Tavern Town'.
Noi slowly began to ware down once more, her strength slowly slipping away from her. She began to lick her lips, swallowing becoming a rather hard thing to do. She looked towards one of the taverns, which was a slightly better built cottage than what she had previously entered. Taking a deep breath, and knowing she would regret it later, she stepped into the building. Immediately, the scent of aged liquor entered her nostrils. The fumes even made her feel slightly nauceous, but she held strong and stepped through the mess of lower class drunks and spilt drinks, nearly slipping on one. When she did this, a man reached out, scooping her waist with an outstrentched arm with a confident grin on his face. He found a few sharp claws trailed across his face seconds later, blood escaping from thin flesh as other drunks alike him laughed at his misfortune. He, as drunk as he had been, began to laugh as well. Noi could only shake her head, shaming the man as she stepped with head held high to the bar. Sitting down upon a stool, she ordered a gingerale. When it came around to her, she realized that it wasn't free. Cursing beneath her breath, she looked at her self-made and pocketless wrapped skirt. She doubted she even knew the currency here if she even had to the money to pay for the drink. When she began to push it back towards the bartender, and pointed to a man that seemed completely sober, sitting in the heart of a group of brawny, madly laughing men. He, however, sat silent and deathly still, turning slowly to peer at the girl as his elbows rested upon the table at which he sat, hands folded nearly and his chin rested upon them. Noi avoided eye contact with him. There was something about the man that brought back odd memories, like she knew him from somewhere. But where? She couldn't really place it. Sighing, she let this subside, nodding as the man told her it was already paid for. It was almost as if this man had been expecting her..
She chugged the drink, getting out of seat and quickly heading for the doors that had served as the entrance to the tavern as well. She headed for an alleyway now, rather aimlessly. It was then that she heard the creeking of the door, and the footsteps of a larger person directly behind her. When she turned, she was immediately thrust into the wall. "Remember me now, Cinderella?" The man hissed. Her vision was distorted for a brief second, before she realized who this was. The voice..the eyes..and that scar across his face. Dracul. She gasped, wide eyed. The man paid no heed to her shock, however, continuing with his business-like words. "Let me get this straight. So, you directly disobeyed my father's will and ran from the dungeon of which you would come out of if you would have just given me the chance to speak with him rationally. What more, you defy your king, and betray his followers by escaping to Lucifer's kingdom? How dare you? Have you lost your mind, Noi?" He yelled, aggressively pinning her to wall and demanding answers. Noi held her own face back, avoiding contact with him. She knew her place. Hisses bellowed her her inside, lips parting to release her stinging words, "Lucifer is my king." She vowed. Dracul, seeming stunned for a second, loosened his grib upon her shoulders, only to scowl and tighten his grip more than before, which caused Noi to shout out in pain. "You would have been my bride, but now you are my enemy." He growled, pulling a silver dagger from it's sheath. "And all my enemies must fall eventually." He finished. Noi stared fearfully at the dagger, speachless. What was she going to do now? She held her breath as he poised the dagger to her throat, but was surprised as he forced her head back, lips pressing against hers. Panic rushed through her, but what could she do? She was trapped, and from the looks of it, he menat rape-and-kill.

His breath had stablilzed finally, for it had been a few minutes. His knees were no longer trembling, and they held his weight numbly, as he ignored the fresh stabs of his skined knnes, Their faint bleeding stained the inside of his pants, but they hadn't seeped to the outside yet. Teeth gritted as he forced himself to rise fully. Auds seeked out any noisees, hoping that he would hear the vocals of one in particular. Noi. His heart fluttered momentarily, but not such an action that was taken when one was swept away by another, like in those romantic love stories where the girl and boy profess their love and they feel their hearts skip a beat. This was a different fluttering. A pain coursed inside his chest, but he reained intact. Orbs shut momentarily as he realized what this was. It was fear. He was afraid. Not for himself, and being alone. Not for being lost, or hungry. Not fear that he could die here, or be eaten by another invisible creature. He was afraid he would never see Noi again.
After his depression had seeped through his skull, his orbs opened again, his pupils diliating from the decreased ligh. Skull turned upwards, as he noted there were only about 15 mintutes left of day. The sun was setting. He had to find Noi before the moon reached too high in the sky. It wouldn't be full tonight, but Lucifer's creations tended to awake during the descent of the sun and the rising of the moon. They thrived at night, when it was cold and no lighter creautres were inhabiting the earth. Lucifer's creations tended to enjoy the amusement of hunting animals when they were asleep, finding their nests and slaughtering them all for an easy feast. Some that had eaten recently would look for innocent and helpless feamles to rape and sexual abuse, just for their own amusement. But how did he know all of this? Mind jabbed angrily at the thought, as he remembered it all to well. Not too long ago, he had been doing the same things. He found pleasure in hunting the weak, raping the girls. He wasn't a virgin, no.. And he wasn't a saint. He took his powers to his advantage. Or he had. Until he met Noi. She was the first he ever asked to be his mate, and now he felt proctive of her, especially since he knew what could happen to her.
His orbs glanced along the sky again, cursing rapidly under his breath. There was only ten minutes or less left of the light, and then the night would rise. Orbs closed heavily, as he attempted to clear his mind, pushing away all the images of Noi being raped and killed to the back of his mind. Those would be the only things that would destroy her. He could get to her first. If he hurried. Disiro inhaled deeply, tapping into his power source, as a muzzle sprouted suddenly fro his concaved metallic nose. Nostrils filtered through the air, searching each scent with extreme care, before finding the one he had been searching for. He took a few more gasps of air, before being able to decifer in what direction her scent was heading. He was not familiar with Lucifer's lands, so he had no clue where she could be headed.
His muscles rotated beneath his skin again, his muzzle now dissolving in thin air, replacced by his metallic skin. Muscles wimpered at forward movement, sharing their will to rest and recuperate all too well. Jaws gritted against the pain, as he picked up a faster jog, stopping every few hundred meters to re check on Noi's scent. He had to force his rogue thoughts out of his mind, instead thinking about saving her, and the best way to win her back. Orbs glanced up again, as the sun was now just a knife's blade thin, barely hovering over the horizon. The moon now seemed to appear from the virgin clouds, looming over his onyx haired skull like a constant warning and remind of what he dreaded. The sun had now fell beneath the horizon but there was still light reflecting over it, showing that it wouldn't go down without a fight. His bones groaned as he picked up an even faster pace, the wind knocking fresh air into his lungs. His bow and arrows thumped methodically along his spine, as his sword matched his pace, emerald jewel gleaming as if knowing it would serve its full purpose soon.
A half of an hour later, light were seen through the gaps of the trees ahead of his figure, replusive smells of what would seemed to be harshly cooked food and alochol mixed together. Pace slowed, but not by much as his facial features now resembled those of a deep scowl. There seemed to be a city near by. Muzzle re appeared again from th metallice skin as he confirmed that this was indeed where her scent led him. Pupils contracted quickly as emerald irises were seen fully, as light now was shown. Occules drifted over the city quickly, seeing a smaller building that held a sign looming near it saying 'Welcome to Tavern Town.' Wonderful. A drunkened town filled with rapists and abusers and drunkards. And probably some crack people too. Was she demanding for this much attention. Bod flinched instintively as hismid reverted back to his previous thoughts. But they were thankfully interrupted as his orbs caught something that he recognized. Blood tracks were scoured across the granite toward the tavern, as he could only assume were Noi's.
His bod approached the tavern hestitantly, reflecting on a time not too far away from the present when he had nothing better to do than spend his weekend nights stuck in a dump like this. At least he knew what to expect of the crowd, but that didn't make it any better. Hands came out in front of him, as he swung open the hinged doors softly, a jolt of roudy noise and talking crowding his hearing. No one really seemd to care about the newcomer, as he could see most had already been heavily drinking. Orbs absorbed the sight dully, as he seached for a slender bodice that would be familiar to him. Her tracks had led in here, but not out. A rather irattated sigh left his jaws, as he fully entered the tavern, heading to the bar. He sat on one of the miserable cushioned seats, seeming to sag from his weight. He hunched over, as he pulled his leather jacket closer to his neck, uncurling the collar to place it against his neck. Orbs still glanced around for Noi. His search was interrupted as he heard tones from the bartender coming toward him. Skull turned rather quickly as the bartender started a conversation. "I don't think I've seen your face round these parts before. Ya new here? Can I get ya somethin thur?" His voice was slurred slightly as Disiro could smell the distict odor of beer and wine mixed together. Disiro lowered his voice, deepening it slightly. "Yea, I'm new to these parts." His hand dropped into his pocket, pulling out a silver coin. He placed it softly on the counter, pushing it lightly toward the bar tender. "Have you seen a girl with silver hair and not much for clothes around here tonight?" The tender grabbed greedily at the coin, as his owrds came out again. "Sure did. She was in here not to long ago, and headed out with a man following behind her.. He paied for her drink too.. What a nice---" Disiro interrupted sharply. " Which way did she go?" The man pointed to the left from the cavern, as Disrio nodded his head, standing back up.
He was about to leave, when a heavily drunk blocked his ath, a large grin showing a bunch of devious intent planted firmly on his features. He was a large man, and his breath reeked of a foul odor as well. His wrods came out slurred as well, but were made to be a threat. "Where are you from? Leaving so soon eh?" Disiro gave him a quick scowl, as he tried to push past the bloke. Orbs caught movement out of his perifial vision as he saw a fist raise up. His reaction time was too slow, however, as he felt an impact squarely hit on the jaw. The right side of his mouth started to bleed slowly, as he could feel it dripping down the side of his lip and ontop his metallc skin. The taste was bitter in his mouth, as he felt the warm liquid that filled his veins flow through his, staining the enamel a hued crimson. The fat man seemed to find his action very amusing as he laughed loudly, coughing between bellows. Soon most of the tavern started up, the drunkards getting kick over those actions. A scowl re-appeared on Disiro's face, as his right hand swiftly unsheathed his sword, it coming out just as quickly, landing a mere two inches from the man's nose.
Suddenly the fat man's lauighter ceased, his face almost seeming swollen, as his eyes screwed together, trying to grasp the image of the blade only a few inches from his flesh. The others in the building also halted their conversations, their bodies turning aroundin thier seats to get a better view. His slurred wrods tried to come out, as they muttered a single word, "Sharp.." But they failed to say anything else. Disiro's words came out sharply.echoing through the now silent tavern. "Yeah, that's right,. Its sharp. Now move out of my way, before I am forced to show a demonstartion." The person nodded silently, looking dumbfounded at his own misfortune. Disiro dashed out of the building, his pupils dilating to compensate for the darkened sky, the sun completey hidden. Faint street bulbs half lit the area around him, as they seemed to flutter hestinatly, as if their energy as being drained. His orbs washed over to the direction that the tender had pointed, hoping he was right. He searched over the area momentarily, seeing thta the lights were in even worse condition, most not even working. His heart caught in his throat, as he confirmed that Noi's scent led in that direction, joined with another. And they were fresh.
He gathered up a quick jog, his occules analyzing every shadow, pupils contracting and dilating accordingly. Heis soles padded softly on the cobblestones, making usre with tender care that he would not be heard. He kept his sword still in hand, his pace slowing slightly as he heard voices. his bod creapt into the shadows, hearing the speech easier. It flowed into his auds, dcoding both the meaning and the owner silently in his mind. It was Noi, and another male. He had to restrain a loud growl, keeping it fully contained, his knuckles turning a pale white as his grip tightened around his sword. Noi sounded distressed, as he could hear the sounds of loud thumping, a bodice hitting against the wall. He could feel the vibrations through the stone wall as he placed his left hand on it carefully.. Disiro suck through the shadows, the sounds only becoming louder. His bod came around a bend, expecting to see the sight for himself. But he noticed that he had been a bit further away from the action than he had expected, as he was faced with another corridor. A light from the street lamps hung precariously from its hinge, only a wire holding it from its downfall, It was still lit, but feebly, not giving away his position. He realized there was a smaller alley off to the side, as he prepared himself for what he was going to encounter, his muscles flexing readily. His mind rean over several different attack posttures, depending on the angle of the predator. His boots stayed silent on the granite, until he sprung from his hiding spot, his sword unleashed. He notice dhte man now, as he had the resisiting Noi pinned firmly against the wall, his ahnds runing down her bodice. His mind now flared, his emerald orbs holding only flames. He could feel the back of his throat ache, a sesation he only got when truely pissed. No one hurt his mate. No while he was still alive.
His sword flashed through the air, the blade point was aimed directly at the man's back of his neck. He felt the edge of it prick a single cell of his flesh, merely only milimeters away. His jaws opened menacingly, his canines bared aggressively, mocking his heritage. Disiro's words sprang angrily from his vocals, coldly and aggressively. "Get away from Noi, you bast***." His left fist clenched painfully in his palm, as his right hand still stayed steady, having full grip and power of his sword. He had debated before whether to morph into his werewolf form, but he had opted against it for now. He was fearful it would scare Noi, and it would leave him with his secret lost to a stranger, which could possibly give him the upper hand later, but for now he would hold the hand of the element of surprise.
